Reno Tahoe has announced the recognition of Art Jimenez, Executive Director of Tourism Sales at the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority (RSCVA), as the recipient of the prestigious 2025 Excellence in Tourism Award. This accolade was presented by Travel Nevada during the 32nd Annual Rural Roundup event in Laughlin on April 10, highlighting the influence of attentive tourism stewardship within the region.
Contributions to the Reno Tahoe Territory
With over 30 years of expertise in the tourism industry, Jimenez has been instrumental in enhancing the tourism strategy for the Reno Tahoe Territory (RTT), encompassing the areas of Reno, Sparks, Carson Valley, Lake Tahoe, Virginia City, and Carson City. His leadership has significantly improved visitor experiences and has been key in crafting a unified vision that bolsters the region’s global attractiveness.
