Experience the Bullfrog Biennial at Goldwell Open Air Museum
Event Overview
The Bullfrog Biennial, set in the scenic Amargosa Desert, invites the public to participate in a free three-day arts festival. Hosted at the Red Barn Art Center near the historic Bullfrog Townsite and the ghost town of Rhyolite, the event will run from October 25 to 27.
Festival Highlights
This year’s theme, Flux, aims to provide a unique artistic experience through an “Apocalyptic Campfire Vision.” The festival coincides with Beatty Days, enriching the cultural offerings of the small desert town of Beatty, Nevada.
Activities will extend beyond the Red Barn and include the ghost town of Rhyolite and various locations in Beatty, including:
- El Portal Motel for exhibitions
- Chili Cookoff
- Beatty Day’s parade
Artistic Showcases and Performances
Evening events will feature live music, poetry readings, and performance art within the Red Barn Art Center. Additionally, a curated exhibition will showcase works from 35 national artists in the main venue and surrounding areas.
For those looking to immerse themselves in the experience, camping will be available on Bureau of Land Management land located directly across from the arts center.
