UNLV Football Achieves Record with 11 Players Honored by NFF Hampshire Honor Society
In a significant achievement, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) football team has set a new program record with 11 student-athletes being named to the 2025 National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society. This accomplishment surpasses their previous record of eight honorees established just last year.

The following Rebel players were recognized for their outstanding academic and athletic achievements:

- Kaleo Ballungay – Tight End
- Jalen Catalon – Safety
- Jacob De Jesus – Wide Receiver
- Jalen Dixon – Defensive Lineman
- Walker Hardan – Long Snapper
- Tatuo Martinson – Defensive Lineman
- Christian Moore – Tight End
- Marshall Nichols – Punter
- Ricky White III – Wide Receiver
- Jackson Woodard – Linebacker
Record Membership Numbers
This year, the Hampshire Honor Society has received a record number of applications, welcoming a total of 2,532 student-athletes from 339 educational institutions. Since its creation, the society has recognized an impressive total of 20,946 athletes, showcasing a commitment to both academic and athletic excellence.
Criteria for Selection
To be eligible for the Hampshire Honor Society, student-athletes must meet specific academic requirements. They are required to maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2 and must have served as either a starter or a significant contributor during their final year of NCAA eligibility. This recognition emphasizes the importance of academic success alongside athletic performance.
