Nevada Treasury Announces Information Sessions on Prepaid Tuition Program
The Nevada Treasury is set to conduct information sessions regarding its Prepaid Tuition Program in both Henderson and Reno this week, aimed at assisting families in understanding their options for saving and planning for higher education costs.
Session Details
- Southern Nevada: Thursday, April 3, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Paseo Verde Library, located at 280 S. Green Valley Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89012.
- Northern Nevada: Saturday, April 5, from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the South Valleys Library, located at 15650 Wedge Parkway, Reno, NV 89511.
Prepaid Tuition Program Overview
The Nevada Prepaid Tuition program offers families a structured savings approach with five distinct plans and four payment options to choose from. The current Open Enrollment Period will conclude on April 15. Families who enroll before this date will also have a chance to win a $1,000 contribution towards their Plan. Additionally, one new enrollee will be selected for a grand prize comprising a two-year community college contract valued at $6,900.
