PuraVida Senior Living Breaks Ground in North Las Vegas
On March 26, 2025, Foresight Housing Partners, in collaboration with the non-profit organization HopeLink of Southern Nevada, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the PuraVida Senior Living project. This new supportive housing community, situated adjacent to the Lake Mead West Apartments in North Las Vegas, aims to address the critical need for affordable housing options for seniors with fixed and extremely low incomes.

The ceremony featured remarks from several key figures including:
- Mayor Pamela Goynes Brown of North Las Vegas

- Clark County Commissioner William McCurdy II
Additionally, statewide representation included:
- Sonny Vinuya, Southern Nevada Outreach Director for Governor Joe Lombardo

Community Features and Amenities
PuraVida Senior Living is set to feature:
- 74 single-story units spread across 14 buildings on a 3.89-acre site.
- All units will be designed for accessibility, promoting the concept of aging in place.
- A community center equipped with a full kitchen.
- A dog park, unit gardens, green space, and outdoor pickleball courts.
The development’s location offers convenient access to public transportation, including the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada’s Route 202, major retailers, and local employers.
Funding and Support
PuraVida has secured a diverse funding stream, incorporating:
- HOME MEANS Nevada – ARPA funds
- HOME Grants
- Project-based vouchers from the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority
- Contributions from the developer

Aging Population and Supportive Services
According to the 2024 Commission on Aging NRS 439.630 Report by the Department of Health and Human Services, Nevada is experiencing a significant increase in its older adult population, with 10 out of 17 counties now having a population aged 65 and older exceeding 20%.
PuraVida will also provide essential supportive services in collaboration with HopeLink of Southern Nevada. These services include:
- On-site full-time case managers
- Staffing on weekends and holidays
- Resident engagement programming
- Access to healthcare and other necessary services
