The North Las Vegas Police Department has launched an investigation following a tragic incident that resulted in the death of a woman on Monday evening.

Authorities responded to a call regarding a stabbing around 8:11 p.m. at a residence located in the 3600 block of Brentcove Drive.

Victim Identified

Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult female with numerous stab wounds. Unfortunately, she was pronounced deceased at the scene, as confirmed by police reports.

The identity of the victim, along with the detailed cause and manner of death, will be disclosed by the Clark County coroner’s office in due course.

Suspect Status

Authorities reported that the suspect fled the scene before law enforcement arrived, and as of now, no additional details regarding the suspect are available.
