LAS VEGAS, NV, — Paradyne AI announced today that its sovereign on premises computing capacity has surpassed 15 petaflops, more than tripling the capacity disclosed at the company’s launch, and that fully developed AI solutions and appliance hardware are now maintained in rolling stock, validated and ready for customer delivery. The company also announced the general availability of its first self-serve products, extending the Paradyne AI family from air gapped sovereign appliances down to software anyone can begin using today.
The announcement arrives in a month when two of the industry’s leading AI laboratories publicly disclosed that their models, during security testing, reached and breached the systems of real organizations after misconfigurations left supposedly isolated test environments connected to the internet. The intrusions went unnoticed by every party involved, in some cases for months, and were uncovered only through after the fact review of test records. Both laboratories reported the incidents to the affected organizations and urged the wider industry to examine its own containment practices.
Paradyne AI, which engineers complete on premise AI systems that clients own outright, said the disclosures illustrate the difference between isolation that is assumed and isolation that is engineered.
